The legal team of the United States’ largest tech hardware company was highly siloed reducing the efficiency and effectiveness of their teams. To solve this challenge we conducted an Organizational Network Analysis to understand the individuals who communicated most frequently. As a result the teams were re-organized into three pods to increase collaboration.

The world’s largest social media platform has rapidly been scaling their teams to meet global demand. As they’ve grown, the startup mantra of “everyone does everything” began to hinder team effectiveness. To enable intentional growth we developed a growth strategy for the Global Mobility, Benefits, and HR services teams including an understanding of task work flow/process, capability assessment, role development, and decision rights.

Lead Facilitator

A global high-end data storage, software, and consulting services company was experiencing declining profits for 3 years. Executive leadership needed to revitalize the company by focusing on digital IoT services. To enable this strategic shift we overhauled their Services, Product, and Sales teams developing everything from high-level op models, channel strategy, talent capabilities, and talent placement.

Ideation, Creative and User Experience Design

Hungry Hungry Consultants is an app created to help professionals track and monitor weekly expenses. Struggling to efficiently track expenses, Kyler set out to build an app that could serve as a "one-stop-shop". Gone are the days of flipping between a notes and calculator app.

Executive Director, Brand Design

Kyler founded the Chicago Red Dress Party in 2010. The annual event brought together diverse people to raise visibility and awareness for HIV/AIDS. Funds generated from the event provided grants for community organizations that adminstered day-to-day services to those affected by HIV/AIDS.

Design, Content Management

Chicagodwellers.com is a blog that chronicles the adventures of two twenty-somethings with a knack for design and DIY projects. Armed with a screwdriver, a hammer, or saw, Kyler and his partner share their home building successes and failures one DIY project at a time.

UX Design

Loyola University Chicago engaged a team of designers to revamp emergency procedures and communications. In the event of an emergency the University struggled to quickly access student information and deploy effective communications. Kyler and his team designed a system that would put relevant information in the hands of staff and faculty by building onto the capabilities of the University's existing mobile app.
